High Energy Extraction from Diode-Pumped Tm:YLF

Abstract

We present multi-joule-level energy extraction from Tm:YLF. The tabletop, diode-pumped system consists of a Tm:YLF oscillator followed by a 4-pass Tm:YLF amplifier, which produced 3.88J in 20ns pulses and up to 38.1J in long-pulse mode.
