Autofocusing in Digital Holography based on Eigenvalue Distribution

Abstract

This paper proposes a novel autofocusing metric in digital holography based on the distribution of eigenvalues corresponding to the reconstructed images. Simulation and experimental results demonstrate proposed method’s applicability for both amplitude and phase objects.
