Remote sensing of cloud and Aerosol over cloud from Multi-viewing Polarized Measurements

Abstract

We are revisiting here the use of multi-viewing polarized reflectance to retrieve atmospheric component properties. First we will focus on liquid cloud microphysical retrieval, then we will demonstrate the potentiality of such measurements to detect aerosol over clouds.
