Characterization of Optical Techniques of Particles Emitted from Surfaces

Abstract

I will discuss recent measurements of (a) laser-induced fluroescence of neutral atoms electronically desorbed from surfaces, and (b) coherence in excited states of hydrogen formed near surfaces.
