Abstract

The portion of pair emission in ruby which is due to energy transfer from single ions has been continously recorded as a function of an external magnetic field (in the range 0 - 100 kg) at various temperatures (2–77 K). 3rd and 4th neighbours pairs have been investigated (N1 and N2 emission lines respectively).
