Space-to-Ground Single-Photon Link for the Realization of a Space Quantum Channel

Abstract

We present the experimental study of a quantum-channel between an orbiting source and a ground receiver. Different geodynamic satellites were used as a single-photon-source, obtaining an effective link with Ajisai at the distance of 1650-km.
