Abstract

Wavelength multiplexed fiberoptic networks require broadly tunable narrowband wavelength filters that are compatible with single-mode fibers. In this paper we demonstrate an integrated-optical bandpass filter for 1.5 µm with a bandwidth of only 6 Å and a tuning range of at least 160 Å.
