Abstract

Optical property data for a number of infrared materials have been reviewed, and both vendors and designers were consulted to ascertain their conception of both the needs of today and the status. Materials were reviewed in terms of their absorption, refractive index and scatter for the refractors, and for a variety of physical properties for the reflectors.
