Laser spectroscopy of matrix-isolated metal clusters

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

The use of matrix isolation spectroscopy in studying the properties of small metal clusters will be illustrated. High temperature species such as Nb2, Sc3, and Cr3 will be discussed, as well as Jahn-Teller dynamical species such as Cu3, Ll3, and Ll4.
