Abstract

The optical system must be flat-field when a large area CCD is used as the sensor. A flat-field Schmidt telescope is described in this paper. The field flattener is apart from the image and composed of five spherical lenses. The specifications of the telescope are: focal ratio F=2, field angle 2W=6 degrees. Finally, the design results are given.
