Abstract

Stereoscopy is a fascinating ability of the human vision, in which the three-dimensional seeing results from the brain’s processing of two slightly different images formed on the retinas of both eyes. Stereomicroscopes have the advantage of permitting stereoscopic observation through magnifying instruments.
