Abstract

The refractive or reflection-refractive objectives in the conventional optics for night vision device are more complicated, because the objective in night vision requires larger relative apeature for more incident light flux and must provide adequate correction for the imaging aberratipons for less number of optical elements, wide field of view (FOV) as well as spectral response. This significantly reduces their desirability in a number of situation.
