A Review of Skew Aberration, the Intrinsic Polarization Aberration in High NA Optical Systems

Abstract

The skew aberration is polarization aberration which is intrinsic to optical system and has greater effects in high numerical aperture optical systems. A critical angle corner cube system is analyzed to review the skew aberration’s effects.
