Progress in revising and supplementing of fundamental optical ISO standards

During the last years the working group activities of ISO/TC 172 sub-committee 1 have resulted in revisions and new ISO standards for optical components. For ISO-10110, ISO-14999 and other standards, new surface forms and metrology techniques have been included, the rules for optical drawings have been updated, environmental test methods have been established in ISO-9022, and standards about material characteristics are being consolidated.
