Adaptive Frequency Domain Chromatic Dispersion Compensation with Minimum Complexity

Abstract

A method is proposed to minimize the computation complexity of adaptive chromatic dispersion (CD) compensation in digital coherent receivers. It is achieved by adjusting the Fourier transform block size according to CD to be compensated.
