Ultrafast Optical Waveform Characterization and Generation Using a Four-Wave Mixing Time Lens on a Silicon Chip

Abstract

We demonstrate two temporal imaging systems using a four-wave-mixing-based time lens. High-speed performance monitoring using a temporal magnification system and high-speed NRZ packet generation using a temporal compression system are demonstrated.
