Abstract

The optimum design of an efficient waveguide frequency doubler depends on many parameters such as the refractive indices of the guide n2ω and cladding n1ω materials, their respective dispersions from to to 2ω (ω=2π/λ), the thickness of the waveguide t, and the fundamental wavelength λ.
