Abstract
Tunable narrowband filters will be used in a variety of applications such as wavelength-division multiplexed (WDM) optical communication systems. Ti:LiNbO3 electro-optically tunable filters (EOTF) are potential candidates for such devices [1]. However, they require some improvements in sidelobe suppression, drive-voltage reduction, narrow passband, and polarization independence for practical use.
