Wide bandwidth transmission through a deformed-lattice photonic .crystal channel waveguide Y-splitter.

Abstract

We report an experimental realisation of a photonic crystal Wl channel waveguide Y-splitter. The device has been optimised through local lattice deformation in the junction region, providing efficient transmission over a broad spectrum.
