Abstract

Injecting Raman pump into higher-order modes (LP₁₁ and LP₀₂) of SMF LEA, NZDSF and DCF, Raman gain is theoretically found to be 50%, 5% and 2% respectively, compared to injecting Raman pump into fundamental mode.
