Spatio-temporal hyperbolic localization in photonic crystals

Abstract

We study analytically and numerically the behaviour of hyperbolic localization (X-waves) both in space and in spacetime in photonic crystals without defects. Existence of diffractionless and dispersionless waves is demonstrated.
