Experimental Demonstration of Wavelength Channel Switching in V-coupled Cavity Semiconductor Laser

Abstract

A simplified cleaved-facet version of the V-coupled cavity semiconductor laser is fabricated and tested. The wavelength switching over 8 consecutive channels by Vernier effect is demonstrated for channel spacing of 50GHz and 100GHz.
