Laser Triggered Displacement of Embedded Carbon Microparticles in PDMS

Abstract

We present experimental evidence of laser-triggered displacement of carbon microparticles embedded in PDMS. Changes in the PDMS surface due to thermal effects owing to optical absorption of the microparticles are evaluated using dynamic speckle analysis.
