Nanophotonic Devices for the Generation and Manipulation of Quantum States of Light

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

We review recent experiments on quantum frequency conversion of single photons produced by a semiconductor quantum dot, and describe efforts to develop frequency converters using four-wave-mixing and cavity optomechanics in the silicon nitride platform.
