Improved Complex Mode Matching Method for Optical Waveguides Analysis

Abstract

We present an improved eigen-mode matching method without using mode orthogonality and normalization. Coupling between silicon-on-insulator waveguides and an anti-guided structure has been utilized to show the efficiency and accuracy of the proposed method.
