Graded permittivity metamaterial absorber with an ultra-broadband absorption in mid-infrared spectrum

Abstract

We present an ultra-broadband metamaterial absorber worked in mid-infrared regime by using the graded permittivity waveguide structure. The light was dissipated for the excitation of the slow light mode and the localized electromagnetic resonance.
