Abstract

Novel multistage delayed interferometric optical (de)multiplexer (MDI-DeMUX) is proposed. By adopting point-symmetric Mach-Zehnder optical couplers in the multistage DIs, we experimentally demonstrated wideband operating range of >100-nm in O-band regime for the proposed 1×8channel MDI-DeMUX.
