Abstract
We demonstrate electromechanically excited Brillouin scattering in integrated, piezoelectric optomechanical waveguides. Acoustic phonons of 16 GHz in frequency are excited with nanofabricated electromechanical transducers to scatter counter-propagating photons into a single anti-Stokes sideband.
