Coherent Beam Combining of 1 µm DFB Laser Based on Adaptive Optics Control

Abstract

A 1-µm DFB laser monolithically integrated with 1×2 MMI and SOAs has been demonstrated with a stable lasing wavelength. Coherent beam combining using adaptive control of the outputs is demonstrated, showing good agreement with simulations.
