Synchronously Pumped Waveguide-Based Optical Parametric Oscillator in Silicon Nitride

Abstract

Optical parametric oscillation based on stimulated four-wave mixing in silicon nitride waveguides was demonstrated. Due to the low-loss silicon nitride technology, the parametric oscillator has the potential to be fully integrated on a single chip.
