Efficient Intermodal Dispersive Wave Generation via Group Velocity Matching

Abstract

We demonstrate ten-fold conversion efficiency enhancement of intermodal soliton linear-wave scattering in a nonlinear waveguide by exploiting group velocity matching of two interacting, differently-colored pulses in orthogonal transverse modes.
