Abstract

Stimulated emission of extreme UV radiation at hv ~ 50 eV has been recently achieved.1,2 To study the feasibility of extending stimulated emission to the shorter-wavelength region, we investigated the generation mechanism of kiloelectron volt x-ray line emissions which are emitted efficiently from laser-produced plasmas in certain irradiation conditions.
