Abstract

Neodymium ultraphosphate (NdP5O14) is a high-gain laser material which shows very weak concentration quenching,1 The thermal behaviors of the spectral lines of Nd3+ ions in this crystal, which are directly related to the phonon-ion interactions, are reported here.
