Abstract

Recently, a two-mode laser in a Λ-type three- level atom system was studied. Previous work focused mainly on single-photon resonance, and some subsequent interesting phenomena resulting from detunings were apparently lost. We now discuss effects of the detunings on the operation of the two-mode laser.
