Abstract
Semiconductor CdS, Se-doped glass has become one of the most interesting objects for the study of low dimensional material because it is easy to obtain and has potential applications in nonlinear optics. Up to now, however, some of the photophysical processes occurring inside these glasses are still not very well understood. For example, there is disagreement between the experimental results and their interpretation for the luminescence spectra and the temporal behavior. Therefore, a further systematic investigation appeared to be justified.
