Abstract
One of the most challenging and interesting problem in Quantum Mechanics is the one of building quantum wavepackets which mimic the familiar Kepler ellipses or Bohr-Sommerfeld trajectories. While the solution is almost trivial for harmonic oscillators systems , in spite of early efforts by LORENTZ and SCHRODINGER, the actual solution for building such semi-classical states is still unknown for atomic systems.
