Abstract

Degenerate four-wave mixing is capable to product Simultaneous genaration of phase-conjugate and nonconjugate wave fronts for a given incident probe wave. The method of generating these twin waves is based on the backward radiation of both of the waves from the third-order nonlinear polarisation. The twin-wave generation wat performed with a Dye-laser and Ka-vapor system1.
