Abstract
ASHORA (Advanced System for High-Power UV-Radiation Application) is a high-power KrF-laser system for researches on plasma physics, laser fusion, x-ray laser etc.. Key issaes of the project are to investigate characteristics of short-pulse amplification, to develop compact and efficient amplifier, and to evaluate various pulse compression schemes.
