Abstract
A reliable value of the electron-phonon coupling constant, g, in metals may have implications even in the field of superconductivity.1 Recent investigations2 have deduced (or implied) experimental values of g in metals. However, there still remains a large uncertainty in the value of g because of difficulty in firmly relating observations to theory.
