Abstract

The laser brightness amplifying optical system is the system in which high gain and large bore lasers are used to amplify the brightness of the image, (Fig.1) These systems are useful for linage processing, optical computing. and large screen, display. A copper vapor laser (CVL) is one of the lasers suitable for these systems because it has high gain, and high average power in the visible range of spectrum.1–2) We have applied the copper vapor laser to the projection microscopes and liquid crystal display projectors.3)
