Abstract

In recent experiments it has been demonstrated that twin photon beams can be obtained from nondegenerate parametric downconversion processes.^1,2 These beams show noise correlations at the quantum level, and we have previously shown that a subshot noise light source can be created by using negative feedback of the noise on one beam to correct the noise on the other.
