Abstract

In recent experiments it has been demonstrated that twin photon beams can be obtained from nondegenerate parametric downconversion processes.1,2 These beams show noise correlations at the quantum level, and we have previously shown that a subshot noise light source can be created by using negative feedback of the noise on one beam to correct the noise on the other.
