Room temperature intersubband-interband double-resonance spectroscopy

Abstract

Interband optical pumping of GaAs/AlGaAs quantum wells results in significant mtersubband absorption which is probed by a mid-infrared laser. This novel spectroscopic technique of both interband and intersubband transitions is very sensitive at room temperature.
