Time-and 3-D space-resolved fluorescence spectroscopy for inhomogeneous photochemical processes

Abstract

Photochemical processes of molecular materials, such as polymer solids, Langmuir-Blodgett films, and microcapsules, are spatially inhomogeneous, so that picosecond dynamics should be examined as a function of a 3-D position. We present a laser-induced fluorescence spectroscopic study with both picosecond time resolution and 3-D spatial resolution in submicrometer order.
