Laser Spectroscopy of Astrophysical Impact

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

High sensitivity laser infrared spectroscopy enables us to observe spectra of molecular ions which play crucial roles in the chemical evolution of interstellar molecular clouds. Observation of the spectra in the laboratory plasmas and in space will be discussed.
