Abstract

In a previous paper[1] we reported scheme of scanning fiber-optic microscope (SFOM). In that case single-mode optical fiber with micro-lens on the fiber end was scanned across the object under investigation. The scanning probe of the microscope was made of four PZT plates bounded into a box-shape structure which has significant dimensions (4x5mm) in the cross section. It was a main imperfection of SFOM for using in vivo.
