Abstract

In this paper the experimental results on four-photon mixing spectroscopy and frequency conversion by efficient harmonic generation in plasma are discussed. Electrical discharge and laser produced plasma have been studied by coherent anti-Stokes hyper-Raman spectroscopy which provides new data concerning atoms and ions electronic states populations.
