Abstract

A typical scheme of quantum nondemoliting measurement (QND) is usually realized using a single mode Mach-Zehnder interferometer. The signal and probe beams are interact in one arm of an interferometer. The index of refraction of the arm is affected by the signal beam. In such a case the interferometer sensitivity fluctuates due to thermal and acoustic effects.
