Abstract
We consider a novel magneto-optical radiation force which represents a promising tool for the effective manipulation of atomic motion: First, this force occurs as a result of stimulated transitions so that no principal upper limit exists for its strength. Second, it can be easily controlled in both magnitude and sign by a static magnetic field.
