Ultrafast broadband infrared spectroscopy of meta I-carbonyl photodynamics

Abstract

A novel method for obtaining transient infrared molecular spectra with femtosecond time and high spectral resolution is described. Application oí this technique to the study of ultra fast metal-carbonyl photodissociation and solvation dynamics in room temperature neat and mixed solvents follows.
