Recent progress in laser cooling, trapping and precision atom interferometry

Abstract

Optical dipole traps and cooling in those traps to below the photon recoil limit will be described. Progress in our atom interferometer measurement of h/MCs by measuring the photon recoil velocity of cesium will also be described.
